You can browse FindInternet and compare plans without an account. This page explains the information used by search, bill comparison and the contact form.

Address and city searches

City and ZIP suggestions use our published Missouri directory. Street-address suggestions send the text you type to Mapbox. Submitting an address sends it to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder. FindInternet uses the returned area to look up coverage; we do not save the address in our database.

The city directory keeps its city or ZIP filter and page number in the URL so you can return to the same results. Bill details and street-address searches are not put in those directory URLs.

Uploaded bills and comparisons

Selecting a file keeps it on your device. Clicking Agree & analyze bill sends it through FindInternet to Google’s paid Gemini API to read the internet charges. FindInternet does not save the bill, extracted details or comparison to an account or database, put them in application logs, or use browser storage to retain them. The page clears these details when you leave or choose Clear comparison.

Google may retain limited data for abuse monitoring and legal requirements. Under the paid API terms, submitted data is not used to train Google’s models. Read Google’s Gemini API terms.

You can cover names, street addresses, account numbers and payment details before uploading. Keep the service ZIP, plan speed and internet charges visible. You can also compare by entering plan details without a file. When available, Gemini may select short comparison notes from the eligible catalog using those details.

Keeping the service running

Our hosting services process requests to deliver the website. FindInternet keeps short-lived usage counters to limit automated or excessive requests. These counters use a daily hash of the connection’s IP address rather than storing the raw address in our application database. They contain no uploaded bill or extracted charge details.

Contact and corrections

When you submit the contact form, we save the topic, provider name, FindInternet page, message and submission time so we can review site feedback. No email address or phone number is required. Please do not include a bill, home address, account number, payment information or other private details.

Provider links take you to another company’s website, which has its own privacy practices. FindInternet does not send your uploaded bill or extracted bill details through those links.
